Miguel began his career at Internacional in 1998. From that time to 2010, he experienced several promotions, from Financial Analyst, to leading the operations and acquisitions effort for the Dallas-Fort Worth region, to eventually assisting with new business development and acquisition for the whole organization. In 2014, he earned the title of Chief Executive Officer. In his career, he has been involved in more than 40,000 apartment units. In 2016, Miguel took a majority ownership interest in the Internacional enterprise.

As Chief Executive Officer, Miguel is responsible for the strategic position of Internacional and all of its affiliated businesses. He guides the organization through new business development and acquisition opportunities, as well as asset and property management. He is also responsible for establishing strategic joint venture partnerships with institutional and private capital firms.

Miguel graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1996. He is also a member of NMHC. He currently sits on the executive board of PeakMade Student Housing.

Felicia  joined Internacional in 2005 as Regional Supervisor for the Houston area and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2018. Her career in multifamily real estate began in 1993 as a leasing agent with VMI Residential before moving to Houston to work for Dinerstein Management Company in 1998. There, she rose to Executive Corporate Supervisor for a 2,100-unit portfolio before transitioning to The ORION Companies. At Internacional, Felicia has supervised student housing, workforce housing, mid-rise, high-rise and garden-style communities. She has also handled a number of newly built communities from pre-construction, lease-up, stabilization, and through disposition.

Felicia’s management style instills a sense of spirit, teamwork, and pride among her associates. Her favorite message to all she supports is “my follow-up is deadly”.

Stacy started her multifamily career at 17 years old as a housekeeper. Through the years she began to learn the many facets of multifamily, and her career progressed to Leasing, Assistant Manager, and Property Manager. She then stepped into the corporate world of property management. During these years she learned what it takes to manage several assets simultaneously along with managing staff and vendors.

With all these years of experience, she chose to move into the training world of multifamily. She created a training and development program to enhance all the different skillsets, from housekeeper to Regional Supervisor, which is still being utilized to this day. She loves to share her stories and experiences in property management, and thrives on sharing what she has learned with anyone that is willing to listen.

Jared is responsible for managing all construction services for Internacional. Prior to joining the company in 2017 Mr. Pierce held a variety of positions in maintenance and construction. He started his multifamily career with The Hanover Company in 2000 as part of an onsite maintenance team and throughout his 11-year tenure there became responsible for all maintenance operations and construction quality control on a national level for over 30+ garden and high-density projects throughout the continental U.S.

Most recently Mr. Pierce has had roles with United Dominion Realty (UDR) and The Allen Harrison Company directing large scale property renovations and strategic capital projects for their asset diverse portfolios. Mr. Pierce brings a wealth of unique construction experience that comes with an operations perspective centering on utilizing capital to maximize value creation for property owners.

Andrea joined Internacional in 2013 with 11 years of banking experience, where she excelled at the logistics of project management and system management. The banking industry was her foundation for operational and financial analytics. At Internacional, she supports the field in day-to-day operations, including technical support, service contract review, and ad hoc analysis requests. She also assists in functions related to acquisitions, development, and dispositions of multifamily assets. Her leadership and experience are instrumental in the execution of successful projects.

Andrea works directly with the CEO of Internacional with the mission critical objective of finding efficiency opportunities not only within the INT enterprise, but also residential communities we serve.

Erica started her career with Internacional in 2003 as a Leasing Professional and was promoted to Assistant Business Manager, Business Manager, and now Director of Training and Development. She has consistently been awarded for her outstanding achievements in her property and corporate positions. Erica has worn many hats and has been involved in numerous acquisitions. She is our Yardi property management system guru and main point of contact for on-site property associates.

Erica attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and studied Elementary Education. She was a member of the Rho Chapter-Alpha Xi Delta and was the New Member Educator. Erica has since continued her education at the University of Texas in Austin.

Erica brings an energetic and cheerful outlook to everything she is a part of. Her passion is training! Erica enjoys spending quality time with her family in Nebraska and volunteering at her local school district.

Pearl joined Internacional in 2010.  Pearl has 16 years of full-cycle accounting experience. Prior to joining Internacional, she worked for a local CPA firm, where her main duties were keeping books, processing payroll and meeting with clients to discuss financials.  She went to work for Lynd Real Estate company, where she helped manage a 10-property portfolio and assisted with audits.

Pearl is responsible for leading and training our accounting team.  She is currently involved with, but not limited to, reviewing and approving financials, onboarding of acquisitions’ financial data, assisting with final closing prorations and writing/improving accounting procedures.  Pearl strives for perfection, meeting deadlines, putting out the best product and instils this in her training within the accounting team. Pearl has an associate degree in accounting from San Antonio College and plans to continue her education.

Alexis joined Internacional in 2006 as an Assistant Business Manager, quickly being promoted to Business Manager. Throughout her career with Internacional, she has successfully managed a variety of communities, including pre-construction, to stabilization, to disposition of garden and mid-rise style apartments. Alexis assumed her role as Regional Supervisor in 2019 and has supervised over 2,000 units. 

Alexis brings an energetic and positive attitude to her communities. Her dedication to her position, her team, and her community is a driving force in her accomplishments. Alexis enjoys spending quality time with her four kids.

Michael joined Internacional in 2019, bringing over 19 years of multi-family property management experience with REIT, owner-managed and fee-managed assets. Michael has managed and supervised Class A to Class C assets throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, as well as in Austin, Houston, and specific markets in California.  With a balanced focus on strong revenue growth and expense control, Michael has led his teams to consistently meet and exceed budget and market expectations. From improving stabilized asset results, to maximizing ROI on interior renovations and property enhancements, Michael has the ability to lead his teams and assets through change and improvement. Michael has also been involved in numerous large portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, providing him with a unique background in identifying issues and opportunities. He has the knowledge and vision to provide strategic planning and guidance to ensure the financial success of each asset.

Michael has obtained the National Apartment Association’s Certified Apartment Manager and Certified Apartment Property Supervisor’s designation and is a graduate from the NAA Lyceum Leadership program.

Christina joined Internacional in 2018, bringing over 13 years of multi-family property management experience. Her experience encompasses a wide range of asset types, but primarily conventional garden style and value-add properties within the Texas market. Christina is a driver of positive change and prefers a more hands-on leadership style. While holding a career in multifamily, she earned her Bachelor of Business Management Degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio and is currently an IREM candidate. She has supervised over 2,000 units in the San Antonio and San Marcos submarkets. Her contributions to the team include strong client relationships, driving asset performance, and employee advocacy. 

Amy joined Internacional in 2001 and served as Assistant Regional Supervisor since 2006. Amy has been in property management for over 30 years with extensive experience in acquisitions and dispositions. She has been involved in the management of over 2,500 units and plays an instrumental part in many facets of our organization. She has supervised many full-cycle tenants in common properties, playing an important role in the acquisition, management, and sale of those assets.

Amy attended Middle Tennessee State University and holds a Florida real estate license and an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation. She served on the Greater Nashville Apartment Association and the Bay Area Apartment Association for several years.
